Carer consent required
Tuesday, 05 March 2019
If you are a carer who has been in touch with us within the last two years, we will have recently been in touch by post or email to seek consent to transfer your contact details and if you have one, a Stage 1 carers assessment, to PeoplePlus who will be providing statutory services for carers in Gloucestershire after 1 April 2019.
This will enable PeoplePlus to continue providing support without you having to re-register and will mean they can contact carers directly about their services and support from 1 April.
The mailing explains that you can respond by completing the reply slip, or phoning 0300 111 9000 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are registered with the Carers Emergency Scheme or receive a Carers Short Break from Crossroads, you may also receive a letter from them requesting consent to transfer information. If you do, please reply to all organisations, as permission for one will not cover the others.
If you receive more than one letter from Carers Gloucestershire, or have already given your consent to us over the phone, then you do not have to reply again, but please do let us know if you agree to consent so that we can ensure that the transition of services is as smooth as possible.
If you have any queries, then please email email@example.com or call on 0300 111 9000.
