Carers Gloucestershire announce a fundraising partnership
Staff at the Cheltenham-based company have selected to support Carers Gloucestershire as its annual charity and over the coming year the team will embark on a number of different events from cake sales to quiz nights to one big event, to raise as much money as they can.
Dave Giles, Managing Director of Abbey Business Group says: “This is a great partnership for us to embark on. Working with Carers Gloucestershire, who are a long-established charity in the local area means we will be able to see where our efforts go first hand. There are some exciting events planned over the next year or so, even something that might be a bit painful – at my suggestion. I look forward to seeing what the team can achieve.”

As well as the opportunities for fundraising, linking with a prestigious Cheltenham employer will raise the profile of issues faced by unpaid carers and highlight the support that is available from Carers Gloucestershire.”
Abbey will be calling on the local business community to support their fundraising efforts throughout the year.
