Carers Gloucestershire is a registered charity (no.1110529) and also a company limited by guarantee in England and Wales (no. 5475527). The organisation is governed by a Board of Trustee Directors the Chair and Vice Chair of which are elected and appointed annually from the serving Directors. The Board will have a minimum of eight and maximum of twelve Directors. To ensure that we are truly Carer led, under the Memorandum & Articles of Association of Carers Gloucestershire the Board shall be made up of at least four Carers or former Carers. Carers Trust aims to ensure that information, advice and practical support are available to all carers across the UK and together with their Network Partners, such as Carers Gloucestershire, provides access to desperately-needed breaks, information and advice, education, training and employment opportunities.
