Carers Alliance PDF Print E-mail

Working together across Gloucestershire

The Gloucestershire Carers Alliance is developing to create a strong, independent, diverse and inclusive carer-led and carer-centred voice to influence policy and services to improve outcomes for all carers.

The plan is for the Alliance to have elected members from new district based fora, Adult Carers United, Gloucestershire Young Carers, the Parent Carer Council and other carer led groups, such as the Mental Health Voice Group, the Chinese Carers Group etc.

The purpose of the Alliance is to enable the different representative groups for all carers to work together effectively.

You can:

  •          Get involved with the steering group
  •          Get involved with working groups about specific issues/campaigns
  •          Share your experiences
  •          Offer your opinion
  •          Respond to consultations/surveys
  •          Or just keep in touch with what’s going on.

Below is a Membership Form for ‘Adult Carers United’, an independent organisation for Carers of adults. Carers when putting together proposals for the way forward for Carers’ Voice in Gloucestershire saw a gap for an independent group to represent Carers of adults.  Joining is free, simply print and complete the form below or telephone 01452 386283 for a copy of the Membership Form.
